We collect information to ensure the technical functionality and curation excellence of our programs:

Registration Data: Name, CPF (Brazilian tax identification number), age, email, cell phone number, and location (City/State/Country).

Sensitive Data (Race/Ethnicity/Gender): Collected exclusively for statistical purposes, transparency, and compliance with our affirmative action policies.

Accessibility Data: Information regarding specific health and accessibility needs for in-person participation in our events.

2. USE, DISCLOSURE AND CONFIDENTIALITY (INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY)

Copyright Protection: DiALAB acknowledges that the applicant is the sole copyright holder of the submitted project. The materials (arguments, scripts, links) will be accessed exclusively by the selection and organizing committee for technical evaluation purposes, under a confidentiality agreement.

Data Sharing: We do not sell your data. We may share it with strategic partners only when necessary to provide a service (e.g., payment processing) or due to legal obligation.
3. FINANCIAL POLICY AND REIMBURSEMENT

Workshops (Fics, Docs, Series, WiP, Pitch): The registration fee covers the curation and technical analysis service, which begins immediately after registration. There will be no refund of the amount paid in case of non-selection or voluntary withdrawal by the applicant.

Festival and Paid Activities: For tickets, refunds will follow the rules of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (right of withdrawal within 7 days, provided it is requested before the event or activity takes place).
4. TECHNICAL CONDITIONS AND THIRD-PARTY LINKS

It is the user's responsibility to ensure that external links (Vimeo, YouTube, Drive) and their respective passwords are active. DiALAB is not responsible for projects that cannot be evaluated due to broken or expired links.

Our website may redirect to social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.). Once outside our domain, the privacy policies of those third-party platforms apply.
5. SUBJECT RIGHTS (ACCESS, CORRECTION AND DELETION)

We adopt appropriate technological measures to protect your data against unauthorized access. However, DiALAB disclaims responsibility in cases of criminal cyberattacks that deviate from current security standards or due to negligence on the part of the user in handling their passwords.
